Delhi Combined Entrance Examination 2009 Notification

University of Delhi will hold Combined Entrance Examination (CEE – 2009) for admission to first Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses in Delhi College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas Institute of Tehnology for the session 2009-2101 for Delhi Region only (85% Seats) will be held on Saturday, the 30th May, 2009. The admission to 15% seats reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) shall be made on the basis of All India Merit Rank in AIEEE-2009 to be conducted by C.B.S.E. All the candidates belonging to Outside Deli Region (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) are advised to appear in AIEE-2009 as per their schedule. The criterion for deciding the eligibility of an applicant to a seat reserved for any Region is the location of the School/ College/ Institution from which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination on the basis of which he/she is seeking admission.

Delhi CEE 2009 Eligibility

The candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination from the recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defence)/Physically Handicapped category). The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the CEE-2009.

Minimum Age : 17 Years as on 1 Oct. 2009

Bulletin of Information for CEE-2009 for Delhi Region Only: The Bulletin of Information containing further details, prescribed application form and syllabi for CEE-2009 can be obtained from the sale counter of the (1) Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor (Health Center), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042, (2) Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Sector-3, Dwarka, Papankalan, New Delhi-110078 on submission of Pay Order/Demand Draft drawn on any Bank of Rs. 400/- for General/ OBC/CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH category (inclusive of examination fee) on working days from Monday to Friday between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm (lunch 01.00 pm to 01.30 pm)

The application form can also be downloaded from www.dce.ac.in, www.nsit.ac.in. The downloaded form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- for General/OBC/CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH category in favour of the “Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi.”

The Bulletin of Information can also be obtained by post by sending a Pay Order/ Demand Draft drawn on any bank of Rs. 475/- for General/OBC/CW category and Rs. 275/- for SC/ST/PH (Inclusive of examination fee and postal charges). The request for supply of Bulletin of Information by post should be sent to The Dean, Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor (Health Center), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 along with two self addressed slips.

The Demand Draft/Pay Order should be in favour of the Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi. Please write your name, address and telephone number (if any) at the back of the Demand Draft/Pay Order.

Notes: Centers of examination are located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi only. The completed application form should be sent to the Dean, Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University), Room No. HCFF-13, First floor (Health Center), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042. Incomplete application will not be considered.
