The instalments will be stepped up one year after the completion of the course or after the student gets a job, whichever is earlier, so that the loan gets repaid together with interest within a period of 60 to 84 months thereafter.

Security :

1) The loan will be granted in the joint names of students and parent/guardian (in case of minors, the parent/guardian will execute the documents on behalf of the minor and also in his capacity as co-borrower).

2) Guarantee of suitable third party if deemed necessary and where sufficient collateral security is not available

3) Insurance : An insurance policy will be taken on the life on the student borrower for an amount equivalent to the loan amount and the policy should be convertible whole-life one for 25 / 30 years, convertible after 5 years into one with endowment benefits. The Bank will pay the insurance premia on the policy by debiting it from the loan account. On liquidation of the loan, the policy will be reassigned and delivered to the borrower.

4) Collateral security equal to the amount of loan in the form of Government Securities / NSCs / Units of UTI and / or immovable property.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Admission to the five year integrated B.A. LL.B; B.Sc. LL.B & B.B.A. LL.B (Hons.) programs will be through a common all-India entrance test (KLSAT). The entrance test will be of two hours duration. The test will consist of multiple choice questions and short answer type questions to test Legal Acumen, Linguistic Skills, Logistic and Analytical Reasoning, Mathematical and Numerical Ability, and General Knowledge. 70% of the questions will be of multiple choice types and the remaining 30% will be of the short answer type.

APPLICATION FOR THE KIIT LAW SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST (KLSAT): Application for the admission test can be obtained from the University Counter and various designated branches of Allahabad Bank and Law School Tutorial (LST) centres free of cost.

University of Delhi will hold Combined Entrance Examination (CEE – 2009) for admission to first Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses in Delhi College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas Institute of Tehnology for the session 2009-2101 for Delhi Region only (85% Seats) will be held on Saturday, the 30th May, 2009. The admission to 15% seats reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) shall be made on the basis of All India Merit Rank in AIEEE- 2009 to be conducted by C.B.S.E. All the candidates belonging to Outside Deli Region (Outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) are advised to appear in AIEEE-2009 as per their schedule. The criterion for deciding the eligibility of an applicant to a seat reserved for any Region is the location of the School/ College/ Institution from which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination on the basis of which he/she is seeking admission.

The candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination from the recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defence)/Physically Handicapped category). Admissions to Under Graduate Courses in Private, Unaided, Medical and Engineering Colleges of Karnataka for the Academic Year 2009-2010 through COMEDK under graduate entrance test and centralized counseling (COMEDK UGET-2009)

Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have set up ‘COMEDK’ to organize a ‘Common Entrance Test and Centralized Counseling’, that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admissions to undergraduate courses offered by member institutions (Medical and Engineering). COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system). The details of the arrangement made will be publicized in due course on our website, (www.comedk.org)

There is no Common Entrance Test for admissions to BDS during the year 2009-2010

Eligibility Criteria for applying to COMEDK UGET-2009

▪ Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th STD or equivalent exams. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply.

▪ For MBBS: As per the MCI (Medical Council of India) norms
▪ For BE: As per the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) norms

Applications for Common Entrance Test are to be filled online on our website (www.comedk.org) after obtaining a DD for Rs. 650/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs. 850/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK-2009, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for on or before 11/04/2009.
